Capacity: 120–130 bin bags (roughly the size of a minibus).
Best for: Large-scale projects and bulky, light commercial waste.

⚠️ Note: Heavy materials like soil, bricks, and concrete are limited in larger skips (10-yard and above) due to weight restrictions.

Permits are not required if the skip is placed on your own property, such as a driveway, lawn or other private area.

If the skip needs to be located on a public road, a permit from the local council will be required. Please provide us with the details at the time of hire and we can arrange this on your behalf, or assist you with the process, with the cost added to your skip hire fee.

Lamps are included with the permit and will automatically turn on during the hours of darkness.

Permit validity times vary depending on the location and the council, and it can take between three and ten days for a permit to be issued, so please allow for this when booking your skip.

In most streets a bay suspension is also required, which carries a daily charge and an administration fee.
The standard skip hire period is 14 days, although longer hire can be arranged if needed.

Where a permit is required, the hire period will match the duration of the permit unless agreed otherwise. If you need next working day delivery, please call our office on 01892 249090 as this service cannot be booked online.

Council Highway permits take between 2 and 5 working days to arrange, depending on the council, and are only available for 4yd, 6yd and 8yd skips.

Please note that no refunds will be given for skips that are only partially filled.
